The hydrangeas are blooming this year after a three year hiatus. They were worth the wait! I love the kaleidoscope of color... I've got one of each it seems! :) My impatiens are doing well, too, since we've had a lot of rain.
The flower baskets on the fence are putting on a show, too. The rain has been good for them, too. These are filled with my traditional combination of pink new guinea impatiens, coleus, and sweet potato vine. Love it!
Around the garden in the flower borders everything is blooming away. The bee balm has grown so much this year it's really filling in nicely!
The butterfly weed we planted last year is finally blooming!
And the butterfly bushes are putting on a show.
Among the weeds on the creek bank, we have cleome and lilies blooming! :)
And my wildflower border is coming along nicely. Most of the flowers came back to bloom again this year, even some of the sunflowers I planted! :) Every week there is something new blooming! This week it's all yellow!
The irises in the flower bed have given way to knockout roses, speedwell, bee balm, phlox and lilies. It's so beautiful down here!
Summer is a bountiful blooming flower border! :)
Hope you're having a great summer so far. July is almost here!
