Only two days (or a day and a half?) until Christmas!! I’m back to share my mother’s Christmas decorations with you today. She has a lot of rooms to decorate and every surface is filled with greenery, lights, and cute Christmas accents!
Her tree is filled with colorful lights and ornaments of all kinds. She trimmed out a ton of branches from her tree so there would be lots of space inside for ornaments.
Her Christmas village is growing this year, too with several new additions.
And there’s another smaller village nearby!
The dining room is decorated in a similar traditional red and gold theme.
My mom has her poinsettias grouped together and potted in antique silver ice buckets. So neat!
The kitchen window is festive with a little woodland village of animals and pinecone trees.
In the living room the mantel is decorated with red poinsettias and sparkly balls.
The bookcase is covered with greenery, poinsettias and lights! And the stockings are hung with care.
I love her stair railing the most! It is dripping with icicles and gold and red ornaments. So pretty.
There’s a tabletop tree in here decorated with lots of colorful ornaments.
Upstairs, Mama has decorated the guest bedroom with a red and white snowflake theme. The bedding is from Plow & Hearth.
I love the garland over the headboard. It’s so festive!
And there’s another small Christmas village on the dresser. :) It has a cute train!
Mama even made a red valance for the window which is decorated with snowflake ornaments!
And the outside is also decorated for the holidays with colorful lights and bows!
Her giant holly tree is adorned with colored lights and giant ornaments.
The house is especially cheerful at night.
I love her forest of trees!
There’s no place like home for the holidays! :) Hope you, too, will be joining your family this Christmas!
